Wedding lagi.

2 hari, 2 wedding yang sama. Siang pakai batik, malam pakai baju melayu. So happens that many people wore blue so we had a group photo of those in blue.

It was fun and lively.

Except for 7 questions of the same, 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1. Yang 2 tu datang together-gether. Yang satu tu asing. Kalau mak ayah aku tak ajar adab, dah sedap aku fire. But they're too nice for me to do that to in actual fact, cuma, cukup-cukup la tanya soalan tu, kan?

Soalan: When's your time ... ?
Jawapan: My watch follows a different planet's time. In that planet I'm only 14.

Ust Amar: Kat planet sana, umur 14 dah ramai anak dah...

Haha.. memang takleh pusing la dengan Ust. Amar tu.

Ust Amar: Saya cukup suka kalau makan dengan kamu la Azmil.
Me: Kenapa Ustaz?
Ust Amar: Sebab bila makan dengan orang lain, malu-malu la, segan la. Dengan kamu, semua jalan.
Me: Dah dia ajak datang makan, kan?

Also had a 'partner' who dressed in almost the same hue as my BM. Photo taken in my phone, mungkin esok update and upload.

All photos of me were taken with other people's cameras so I'm at their mercy. I doubt I'll be getting many pictures but I hope I would.

Oh, I kinda dirtied my shoes yesterday, those Primavera pair that I liked, while at the wedding reception in Ampang Tasik. It rained and the ground got very.. muddy. Nothing that some kiwi and quick brushing of the shoe can't clear.

Now, there's Sakinah, Sharifah, Abaris, Nihlah, Nani. Next?

Drama lagi.. haih..

Dah lama jugak.. Last posting pun tahun lepas. Uih. Setahun tuh takde posting..

Drama :P

The continuous activity and travel hasn't caught up with me yet. I'm still in this state of I've-got-to-do-this that I hardly stop and consider what it's doing to me although I did for a moment today ask myself what I've not been able to do with these travels that I have.

It's no biggie. I've done this before and I will continue doing it for as long as I can. It's also good to have a brother who thinks almost the same way making the experience very lively. It would've sucked if I had to do it alone.

Tomorrow's an official break. I think I can still survive the travel but I have other issues that requires attention which I know for sure that I'll have to attend to in order to keep me employed and lessen the burden on my ears (should I procrastinate). Plus there are two weddings that I must attend, one being that of my student whose parents I'm familiar with who also invited our whole family. Since my parents won't be able to make it, I've got to represent. The other being the wedding of a friend. One in Ampang Tasik, another in Keramat. Very near.

But the 6-day week is taxing and very very very irritating. I hate working 6-day-weeks. I must get me a new 5-day-week-only job. The wedding invitation, or rather the solemnization ceremony begins at 12 and I SO want to be there but darnit! I work until 2pm. (*)@$@!#^(@$(*&#$@#!!

It's been a long week despite 2 public holidays in between.

But it's been good :)

apa tu?

Dah ada telepon, tak nak guna telepon.

Dah tu pulak orang lain terpaksa tunggu ko telepon.

tapi tak puas la kalau marah-marah orang kat sini. hmph..

Tuhan Maha Kaya, Maha Mengetahui dan Maha Pemberi Petunjuk.

He has a way of teaching us a good lesson.

I made a mistake by mentioning m and my parents in the same sentence and now am experiencing His gentle reminder that He associates with no one.

Made plans to go out at 9:30pm. All went well throughout the day giving me an impression that it would be a good night as well.

at 7:30pm the phone rang. On the other side was a barely audible voice of our colleague in Dubai saying something something something something. By barely audible, I mean that it's almost impossible to make out the conversation had it been in a crowded or noisy place. Since everyone went home for the day already, I managed to extract the gist of what she was saying:

Guest coming to KUL, leaving in a few hours, wants to book a room at XXXX from XX Dec to XX Dec. Guests are honeymooners.

Ok. Irritation number one.

Called the property to proceed with reservations but "Sorry Sir, reservations is already closed, can you call tomorrow?" Mr, Miss, I wouldn't wake up an elephant if I can help it. So made some other phone calls to other people who assisted, to a certain extent but still, "Come tomorrow".

Irritation number two.

Anyways, this particular issue was a question some days ago that I answered. And they had to wait until the very very very very laaaaaast minute to decide.

Takpelah. Kalau aku ada vocabulary mencarut yang panjang berjela, I wud've. But tonight, I feel happier not to revise those words.

Happy eve of public holiday people.
